Vix Sedgwick

Born with three eyes — two for the room, and one for the detail everyone else misses — Vix has called Cumbria home since 2011.

With a background in interiors and house doctoring, Vix brings more than a camera to Nicholson & Woolf. She understands where the eye goes, what needs moving and, just as importantly, what needs taking away. The aim is simple: create photographs that get properties noticed and get viewings through the door.

She loves seeing potential in the ordinary, from a room that needs rethinking to a car boot or charity shop find waiting for another life. And homeowners needn’t panic before she arrives — her own home is very much a case of the cobbler’s shoes.

Away from the camera, Vix loves exploring, culture and sunsets, both at home and abroad.

“Every property has something that makes it special. My job is to find it, frame it and make sure the photographs give people a reason to stop, look and want to see more.”
