Some of the best relationships in property begin with a house viewing, but every now and again, life has a lovely way of bringing people back together when you least expect it.
We would love you to meet Rebecca Dewhurst, the newest member of the Nicholson & Woolf family, whose journey with us began not as a colleague, but as a first-time buyer looking to find a place to call home.
Our story with Rebecca began back in 2022, when she and her partner, Jack, came to view a property with us. Buying their first home together was not entirely straightforward, and the process certainly presented its fair share of challenges. However, Rebecca and Jack approached everything with a wonderfully pragmatic attitude, showing patience, determination and a genuine commitment to doing everything they could to secure their first home together.
As estate agents, we see many people pass through the doors of the homes we sell, but some leave a lasting impression. Rebecca was one of those people and little did we know then that, four years later, our paths would cross again in such a lovely way.
Fast-forward to 2026, and Nicholson & Woolf found ourselves looking for some additional administrative support as our business continues to grow. Rebecca was the first person who came to mind.
With a wealth of customer service experience, exceptional organisational skills and a wonderfully capable approach to getting things done, she was an obvious choice. Anyone who knows us will appreciate just how important organisation, attention to detail and looking after people are to the way we work. We are delighted to have found someone who shares those values so naturally.
Rebecca will initially be joining us on a part-time basis, working both from our office at Hackthorpe Hall Business Centre and through a hybrid working arrangement. With Rebecca and Jack now parents, this next chapter is about finding that lovely balance between family life and work, whilst allowing Rebecca to bring her considerable experience to a business she already knows and loves.
At Nicholson & Woolf, we have always believed that our business is built on people, relationships and the trust that develops over time. Property is rarely just about bricks and mortar; it is about the lives unfolding within those walls, the people making memories and the beginnings of new chapters.
Rebecca’s journey is a lovely reminder of that. We first got to know her as someone embarking on one of life’s biggest milestones, buying a first home with the person she loved. Now, we have the privilege of welcoming her into our working family, as she embarks on another new chapter of her own.
We are so pleased that Rebecca chose Nicholson & Woolf for her next step, and we cannot wait to see her flourish with us. Her experience, enthusiasm and organisational talents are already a wonderful addition to the team, and she is very much one of the Nicholson & Woolf family.
So, if you happen to pop into our office at Hackthorpe Hall, do say hello. We are sure you will find Rebecca just as lovely to work with as we do.
Welcome to the team, Rebecca. We are so glad our paths crossed again.
